Double Chocolate Banana Bread that is packed with banana chunks, lots of dark chocolate and is so easy to make! This is truly a must-make banana bread recipe.
From this recipe, I changed things up a bit. Â For starters, I used raw 100% organic CACAO powder which is so good for you! Â Did you know that it’s known to be one of the superfoods that can be a factor for LONGEVITY? Â What?!?! Â Chocolates can prolong life? Â YES!!!! Â Provided you pick the raw kind, and not the processed, artificially-flavored and sweetened one. Â For the bananas, I used the really ripe ones like those which have dark spots on its peel. Â That gives the bread a naturally sweet taste and it helps make it a bit more moist too. Â You don’t want dry banana breads, do you?
For the sweetener, you may pick whatever is your preference. Â I usually go half pure maple and half honey. Â But if you only either of which, then go for it. Â And if you wish for it to be sweeter, then add a couple more tablespoons. Â I usually keep my banana bread not too sweet since I sometimes top it with peanut butter when I eat it. Â Peanut butter + banana + chocolate just totally makes sense! Ha!
This banana bread is so kids-friendly without having to think of the sugar rush! Â To sum it up, it:
WHOLEMEAL
REFINED SUGAR-FREE
BUTTER-FREE
GUILT-FREE
CHOCOLATEY
HEALTHY-YUMMYLICIOUS!
