Double Chocolate Banana Bread that is packed with banana chunks, lots of dark chocolate and is so easy to make! This is truly a must-make banana bread recipe.
From this recipe, I changed things up a bit. For starters, I used raw 100% organic CACAO powder which is so good for you! Did you know that it’s known to be one of the superfoods that can be a factor for LONGEVITY? What?!?! Chocolates can prolong life? YES!!!! Provided you pick the raw kind, and not the processed, artificially-flavored and sweetened one. For the bananas, I used the really ripe ones like those which have dark spots on its peel. That gives the bread a naturally sweet taste and it helps make it a bit more moist too. You don’t want dry banana breads, do you?
For the sweetener, you may pick whatever is your preference. I usually go half pure maple and half honey. But if you only either of which, then go for it. And if you wish for it to be sweeter, then add a couple more tablespoons. I usually keep my banana bread not too sweet since I sometimes top it with peanut butter when I eat it. Peanut butter + banana + chocolate just totally makes sense! Ha!
This banana bread is so kids-friendly without having to think of the sugar rush! To sum it up, it:

1/3 c pure maple or honey
1/2 c plain or greek yogurt

1/2 c raw, unsweetened cacao powder (or cocoa powder if preferred)
1/2 c dark choco chips
